What the crap!
Yesterday I was driving down the road and saw one of those lovely trucks driving down the road. You know, the ones with the advertisement plastered on the body of the car, the one that wraps the whole thing up in a little display of fun that you can’t seem to look away from. As I looked closer I realized that the company advertised was called Dog Butler. Yep a company that comes to your house and picks up your dog’s “business” left behind. At first I laughed and thought really? And after further contemplation I thought great one more thing that we can’t seem to do for ourselves. In fact I wonder when our kids are going to start outsourcing their chores? Out of curiosity I went to their website to investigate further. Wow, only $35 a week (for one dog), that seems reasonable $140 a month that will fit in the budget nicely, right next to $200 a month to have someone clean out my bellybutton once a week. REDICULOUS! And by the way if you have more than 5 Dogs you will have to call for an estimate. This is the kind of crap that Ted would be super pissed about. (Ted is my wonderful father and also the voice in my head when I see and heard stuff like the Dog Butler) I never want to meet the guy who came up with this business plan, but truth be told he is probably making a killing. Awe…. Capitalism.

it is nice to see a new blog posted.
i agree completely, and yet i find myself wanting hire all sorts of people. between getting my lawn mowed, my house cleaned, my dog's poop picked up, and getting meals delivered to my house...i find i am working to make money to keep these helpers employed. i hardly have enough money left to pay for my dry cleaner delivery service.
